[Audio Version] The book flies from action scene to shocking revelation, with a few sweet, downtime scenes that round out the experience. It's a hard one to put down.

[Audio Version] ...fun and exciting, and the pacing is kept brisk despite the need to fill in a tremendous amount of back story.

[Audio Version] These stories move easily between the warm, sweet bedtime story, to the haunting tales that will live with you forever. Listen to them, enjoy them, and you will never forget them.

[Audio Version] I'd highly recommend reading, not listening to, this book while curled up with a steaming hot chocolate on a winter's evening. It's a powerful story, and I'm looking forward to the sequel, City of Ruin.

[Audio Version] The book achieves greatness through its language and its lyrical beauty. Stephen Hoye has the perfect voice for a work like this, and it is greatly enhanced by his reading.
